COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVES EXERCISE 1


A.- Compare :

EXAMPLE:

Marc 1.80m tall, Andrew 1.60m tall.

a. - Marc is taller than Andrew.

b. - Andrew is shorter than Marc.

1. - A car 22.400€, a bike 600€.

2. - Daisy 80kg, Beth 5kg.

3.- The Everest 8,848m high, The Canigou 2,784m high

4. - A rabbit 45 km/h, a tortoise 3km/h.

5. - My brother 1.70m tall, my sister 1.70m tall.


SOLUTIONS

1.- A car is more expensive than a bike.

A bike is cheaper than a car.

2.- Daisy is fatter than Beth.

Beth is thinner than Daisy.

3.- The Everest is highest than the Canigou.

The Canigou is smallest than the Everest.

4.- A rabbit is faster than a tortoise.

A tortoise is slower than a rabbit.

5.- My brother is AS tall AS my sister.
